As an ambassador of the tama, Senegal, and Africa more broadly, Massamba has long placed educational outreach as a huge part of his mission. Through his drum & voice, he has much wisdom to share with the world. For three decades he has been providing educational programs of all levels and age groups across the US. This includes preschools to universities, refugee programs to correctional facilities.
Massamba offers performances and assemblies, as well as drumming residencies and workshops. Each program is unique, and custom-made to fit the wantsand needs of each institution.
